JUVE Application Framework supports Web Client with AJAX capabilities

JUVE Application Framework's client has been extended by a new module supporting development of Web client applications with AJAX capabilities. The new module called JUVE Web 2.0 Client supports easy and effective development in JAVA of the Web client applications and complete reuse of other layers of JUVE based software - domain/model, controller layer, service layer and persistency layer can be reused without rewriting any single line of code ! This is possible because JUVE Client architecture applies the MVC++ architecture pattern, supporting complete reuse of all architecture layers except the light view layer, which must be adapted to new user interface environment. Thanks to general similarity of used Web interface lib to other standard libraries ( Swing, C# Forms, SWT ), the redevelopment of the Web user interface is easy, and will be also automated by the JUVE MDD ( JUVE Model Driven Development ) suite.

The designers and developers can develop rich and user friendly complex user interfaces for Web, offering high degree of interaction, without suffering performance and scalability bottlenecks.

The modules and application layers developed so far are fully reusable, with high performance and scalability application server AVAX as bandwagon.

ECLIPSE free development suite can be used for the complete development cycle of multitier systems with Web / AJAX user interface.

JUVE Client Application Framework supports Offline Client mode of operation

JUVE Client Application Framework as part of a general JUVE Application Framework has been extended by Offline Mode of operation. Applications using this option may offer offline operation and processing of data. The data changes will be synchronized with the system server(s) in predefined way while going online again.

The solution is completely transparent to standard JUVE based applications, and requires only installation of an additional module and configuration of exchangeable data clusters. Any JUVE based application can support offline mode without a need for serious development effort.

Avax Application Server becomes Grid Computing Server

MP System Sp.z o.o works on development of the AVAX Application Server to a new quality Grid Computing Server.

AVAX Application Server will be extended by new features:

  • Instant Data Update

Standard application architectures and application servers are driven by the request-by-the-client and response-from-server approach. Many applications require 2-channel communication with push channel driving new data from the server to registered clients.

AVAX application server supports now the Instant Data Update mechanism, distributing data changes to registered clients. Instant Data Update mechanism can be used for instant updates of realtime rate quotings, news distribution, backend driven data instant updates etc. etc. The Instant Data Update mechanism is fully integrated into the JUVE architecture and its use in JUVE based applications is directly supported.

  • Distributed Data Grid Content Management

The application data will be distributed and shared among many application server instances. AVAX Grid Computing Server provides automatic data synchronization. A special subunit of the AVAX Grid Computing Server will use the JUVE Mobile Client Framework and will allow the integration of the mobile devices into grids ( server networks ).

This technology can be eg. used for implementation of distributed project management system, supporting the project teams using networked PCs and mobile devices ( Smart Phones, MDA, PDA, Nokia Communicator ), and sharing the common project management data.

Another application might securely manage the data of a single user in the AVAX Grid Computing Server architecture, distributed on many devices ( office PC, private PC, smart phone, PDA etc. ), and automatically updated and synchronized without any necessary action invoked by the user.

  • Voice & Video Streaming

AVAX Grid Computing Server will support real time voice and video streaming.  This will allow development of IT systems of the next generation, integrating fully the processing of alphanumeric and multimedia data without any paradigm changes in the system architecture.

As an example, the future CRM system will developed by using standard application server architecture and will support simultaneous processing of both alphanumeric and voice data.

The other opportunity will be development of internet multimedia systems based on Web Services communication  ( Internet TV, Internet DVD shops ).

  • Huge Data Volume Handling

The integration of big or legacy systems via internet requires often the transfer of huge data volumes packaged as data files. The common solutions in this area use unsecure FTP protocol.

AVAX Application Server will offer the new quality by integrating the support for huge data volume transmissions based on Web Services concept. The secure transmission of big data files ( 1 GB, 10 GB, and more... ) can be fully integrated into the application logic and system architecture without any paradigm breaks. The communication layer will fully transparently manage the transfer of the high data volumes.

The currently available communication layer flexibility of the AVAX Application Server with support for different data transfer formats ( XML/Web Services, binary/Web Services, compressed transmission, encrypted transmission, SSL ) offers to the system architect attractive options for the integration of system components.
